OVERVIEW

Join CSM Worldwide for a review of the changing market in North America. Charles Chesbrough, Senior Economist, will provide an outlook of the economy, highlighting the indicators for vehicle demand. Joseph Barker, Senior Manager, North American Vehicle Sales Forecasts, will examine OEM strategies amid the high gas prices and challenging CAFE regulations, while evaluating vehicle segments for opportunities and risks. Joseph Langley, Senior Analyst, North American Vehicle Forecasts, will discuss the rapid change in the industry as the market shifts from trucks to cars. He will also address short-term production scenarios in this volatile environment and discuss which manufacturers are best positioned or at risk. Mike Jackson, Director, North American Vehicle Forecasts, will address manufacturers success or failure based on future product strategy and changes in the auto industry impacting the planning process and products. Chris Fisher, Senior Commercial Vehicle Analyst for Power Systems Research, will be reviewing OEM and manufacturer strategies for the medium and heavy vehicle market, with an outlook of the short and long term trends. Eric Fedewa, Vice President, Global Powertrain Forecasts, will present a review of the North American engine production scenarios, downsizing trends and technology trends.

REGISTRATION

A client registration fee of $250 per person and a non-client registration fee of $500 per person will be assessed. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation e-mails will be sent upon receipt of the registration form to the e-mail address provided. Cancellations must be received 72 hours before the event date to receive a refund of the registration fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event date will be charged the full registration fee.

BIOGRAPHIES

Charles Chesbrough

Charles Chesbrough, Senior Economist, is responsible for developing and integrating macro-sales forecast scenarios and models into CSM Worldwide global forecasts. Mr. Chesbrough was a Ph.D. student in economics at Michigan State University, holds a M.A. in economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a B.A. in economics from Michigan State University.

Joseph Barker

Joseph Barker, Senior Manager, Global Sales Analysis, is responsible for light vehicle sales forecasting, product and brand strategy analysis, as well as identifying segment, demographic, and market trends. Mr. Barker holds a B.S. in Marketing from Wayne State University.

Joseph Langley

Joseph Langley, Senior Market Analyst, North American Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for short-term production forecasting for the North American light vehicle market. Prior to joining CSM Worldwide in March 2004, Mr. Langley acted as an industry consultant under the AutoHorizon banner specializing in automotive information and research services.

Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson, Director, North American Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for directing sales and production forecasting in addition to conducting industry surveillance and product planning analysis to deliver cutting-edge insight on the automotive industry. Mr. Jackson has an undergraduate degree in management strategy from Eastern Michigan University and earned his M.B.A. in international marketing from Wayne State University.

Chris Fisher, Power Systems Research

Chris Fisher is the Senior Commercial Vehicle Analyst at Power Systems Research based in St. Paul Minnesota and has been with the company since 2005. Prior to joining the Power Systems Research team, he was employed by Baldwin Filters for fifteen years and spent significant time in Finance, Sales & Marketing and most recently was an Engineering Manager for the Product Specifications group. He graduated from the University of Nebraska - Kearney in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In his current role at PSR, he is responsible for providing market intelligence for commercial vehicles and engines worldwide.

Eric Fedewa

Eric Fedewa, Vice President, Global Powertrain Forecasts, is responsible for global powertrain sales and production forecasting, future product program intelligence and market analysis, assessing future technologies and trends as well as supplier and global integration issues. Mr. Fedewa is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Automotive Press Association, and the Society of Automotive Analysts. Mr. Fedewa holds a B.S. in Automotive and Heavy Equipment Fixed Operations Management from Ferris State University.
